Work with me- Consulting for Professionals and Coaching for Caregivers

Hello! I have been working with children with pediatric feeding disorders for over 30 years now.  When I was a new clinician, I sought out mentorship from experienced professionals. This individualized training gave me the skills and confidence to work with these special children. More about me here.

Now, I would like to offer mentorship to professionals and coaching to families. I will have 4 hours each month dedicated to coaching and providing direct advice for professionals working with children with pediatric feeding disorders and for caregivers of children with feeding issues.

Feeding Therapists

  • Do you ever feel stumped by your pediatric clients with feeding or swallowing problems and wish you could brainstorm with a mentor?
  • Did your graduate level training lack information on  pediatric feeding disorders?
  • Would you like to learn specific feeding strategies and build your skill base to use with your clients?
  • Would you like assistance on developing a specialty in pediatric feeding disorders and help to build your caseload?

What I offer for Feeding Therapists:

  • Individual consultation and mentorship for feeding therapists on a specific cases, evaluation, or treatment strategies. This will be targeted to your needs.
  • Individualized team training– I will work with your team of clinicians on specific assessment and intervention for your clients. For example; using medical and nutritional strategies to improve better outcomes in therapy; tube weaning; building a feeding team; specific case mentorship.

Caregivers and Parents

  • Are you struggling or worried about feeding your infant or child?
  • Are you confused about where to get help for your child?
  • Would you like some guidance on how to help your child eat better and more successfully?
  • Is your child stuck and not progressing with feeding skills?

What I offer for Caregivers:

  1. Coaching session to discuss your concerns- I will provide guidance on where to get help, general ideas about feeding therapy, and resources.

* A coaching session is not feeding therapy, it is for caregiver advice and guidance only. * This service is open to all caregivers and parents outside of North Carolina, U.S.A.  I offer feeding evaluations and therapy through UNC Healthcare, Chapel Hill, NC. If you live in NC, please come and see me at UNC!

Scheduling a Consultation/Coaching  Session:

  1. Email me to set up a date and time (45 minutes): feedingnewsletter@gmail.com
  2. Cost is $100 for 45 minutes (payment is due before time of service)
  3. We will meet on zoom or by phone (your preference)

Email me at feedingnewsletter@gmail.com to book an appointment.
