Almost any pediatrician who has encountered a child with chronic abdominal pain in their office has thought “Now what?”. Functional Abdominal Pain Disorders (FAPD) are frustrating disorders for patients, their families, and physicians alike. The frustration starts with the perceived inability to answer two related questions: “What is the cause of the pain?” and “What can we do to treat it?”.   Read more here.
